FAQs

  • Our workouts are designed for you to take in the comfort of your own home, gym or anywhere life takes you. We offer strength training workouts including low impact options, cardio HIIT workouts, core conditioning, stretching routines, meditations and guided 4-12 week programs. Our workouts will be led by Kelsey Ellis or a guest instructor approved by Kelsey.

  • Absolutely! I have created this studio with a mission to provide fun, shame-free fitness for ALL fitness levels. In fact, there is an entire collection of workouts dedicated for those new to fitness! For example, our "Chardio" workouts is a collection of 30 minute cardio workouts from a chair with and without weights.

    In addition to those specific collections, we always include as many modifications and alternative options as possible throughout all of our classes!

  • Although we offer many workouts and programs that are equipment-free, to get the most out of your membership, we recommend having access to at least one set of dumbbells (ideally two -- a light pair and a heavy pair).

    This will provide you with a greater variety of workouts to choose from! If you're looking to expand your fitness gear, we also offer classes that use resistance bands and kettlebells but these are totally optional and not necessary for the majority of the workouts.

  • The Healthy With Kelsey app is the first Black-owned 100% body positive fitness app and was created as a diet culture-free haven from the typical fitness narrative.

    You won't find any disempowering language around weight loss, body size, or "burning this or sculpting that". Instead you will be encouraged to focus on the feeling of movement and embracing your body just the way it is!

    Our community is small and you won’t feel like one in a million like most fitness apps. Your feedback is heard, your questions are answered, your effort is valued.

  • Yes. Workouts can be downloaded to your phone using our iOS and Android apps.

  • The trial is free for 7 days. If you haven’t cancelled by then, you will automatically get subscribed to the monthly, quarterly or annual plan you chose at sign up. If you cancel your subscription before the end of the trial, you will not be charged.

  • Yes, our app is available on both iOS and in the Google Play store!
